Five (5) Asian items, including one (1) mottled green and white jade snuff bottle; one (1) smoky gray jade or hardstone snuff bottle; and three (3) reverse-painted snuff bottles—one (1) large, tall, square tapered form with battle scene; one (1) round with figure in landscape; and one (1) ovoid with flowers and butterflies—together with a polychrome leather tobacco pouch having an unmarked repousse silver clasp decorated with dragons. Pouch: 6 in. x 3 1/2 in. Tallest bottle: 4 5/8 in. H. All items early to mid–20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Ann B. Lee, Franklin, TN.
CONDITION: Smoky colored snuff bottle has a flake to upper rim and the lid has been adhered to the rim. Green and white snuff bottle has small fleabite chip to upper rim. 1 reverse glass snuff bottle lacks lid, and the other two lids lack spoons. Some wear to pouch.
