Three Middle Tennessee (3) fiddle handle coin silver teaspoons marked W & S BERSON / FRANKLIN in ovals for William and Solomon Berson, working Williamson County, TN from 1833-1838. William and Solomon were sons of the watch and clockmaker, jeweler, silversmith, and goldsmith William Berson, Sr., working in Franklin (Williamson County, TN) from 1833-1843. This mark is illustrated on page 39 (fig. 38a.) in the book Tennessee Silvermiths by Dr. Benjamin H. Caldwell. 5 1/4 in. L. 1.34 total troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: Private East Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: All with M script monogram to the handle, light surface scratching, and pitting to the bowls.
