Two (2) Luigi Alois Heinrich Kasimir (America/Austria, 1881-1962) signed color etchings. 1st item: Etching and aquatint in colors entitled Yale, Harkness Hall and depicting the titular Yale University building with pedestrians and brightly colored flowers. Signed in pencil, lower center, and titled in the plate. Sight: 18 1/4" H x 12 1/2" W. Frame: 25" h x 18 1/2" W. Housed under plexiglass in painted and gilt wood frame with ivory mat. 2nd item: Etching and aquatint in colors entitled Fulton Market and depicting a harborside market with ship's riggings rising before the New York City skyline. Signed in pencil, lower center, and dated May 2, 1936, in the plate. Housed under plexiglass in ebonized and gilt wood frame with ivory mat and gray reveal. Sight: 17 3/4" H x 12" W. Frame: 24 1/2" H x 18 3/4" W.
PROVENANCE: Collection of John H. and Carol R. Evans, Farragut, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Apparently excellent condition, not examined outside of frames. Frames with minor abrasions and losses.
