A collection of Armed Forces related caps. Includes 1 Canadian made Royal Navy officer's visor with insignia, bullion and faux white leather top; 1 Royal Navy officer's wool visor with bullion insignia and patent leather strap; plain white sailor cap; 1 gray wool sailor cap with 2 metal stars and eagle/anchor insignia; 2 Russian navy caps with Cyrillic lettering and hammer, sickle and star insignia (used, light grime); 1 sailor cap with blue band and red trim and red pouf at top (possibly Norwegian); 1 officer's visor with green and red wool, insignia with lion rampant under a star and bullion braid (light wear and grime); 1 French officer's kepi, possibly World War I era with silk lining, some small stains and color bleed to side; 1 Norwegian Navy cap with white top and blue band with lettering, KNM HARALD HAARFAGRE; 1 blue wool Norwegian navy cap with metal insignia; 1 dark blue wool cap with lettering, US NAVY; 3 Russian style Ushanka caps, 1 with metal East German insignia, 1 with Russian enameled and gilt sickle-star-wreath insignia (light wear); the other with enameled red/white/green oval badge; 1 North Vietnam pith helmet with star in circle insignia, Russian and English writing on tag, marked "Made in Vietnam" (sic) and "Kapelusz Vietcong", interior strap broken; and 1 Army green vinyl gas mask. Provenance: collection of a US Naval officer, given to him as gifts during international trips. CONDITION: All hats mid to late 20th century with minimal or no wear unless otherwise noted.
