Lot 878: Geisha Cutglass Powder Box & Minature French Chest

1st item: Cut glass pill or powder box with a handpainted porcelain lid depicting a Geisha. 1 1/2 in. H x 3 in. dia. Early 20th century. 2nd item: Miniature French Louis XV Style bombe chest or commode with a marble top above two parquetry veneered drawers, shaped skirt, and cabriole legs. Rococo style bronze mounts and handles. 7 1/8 in. H x 12 1/2 in. W x 7 in. D. 1st Qtr. 20th century.

PROVENANCE: The estate of Billie Ann Smith, Nashville, TN.

CONDITION: 1st item: Overall good condition with minor scratching and wear to porcelain lid and oxidation to gilt metal mounts. 2nd item: Scattered fleabites to the perimeter of the marble top, otherwise overall good condition.
