Pair of Japanese patinated bas-relief bronze vases later mounted as gas lamps, and then again as electrical lamps. The baluster-formed vases have bas-relief floral and vine decorations, are mounted onto a French gilt brass pierced leaf-form base, the tops have reticulated collars with gas keys intact, and the necks have additional gilt leaf-form mounts. Early 20th century. Vases w/ base: 21 1/4" H. Overall: 33 1/2" H.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both are in overall good condition with light age related wear and have been rewired with contemporary wiring. Functioning at time of inspection.
