Grouping of early 20th century books, 22 total, including 13 volumes of Charles Morris "Historical Tales", 1904 published by J. B. Lippencott Company all inscribed on the frontis page "Blanch Nelson Tomlinson, Tate Spring, Tennessee, 1906" and 9 volumes of Scribner's Magazine Illustrated, Volumes XXXI through XXXIX for the years 1902 through 1906. Volume XXXIX inscribed on the frontis page "Blanch Nelson Tomlinson, Tate Spring, Tennessee, June 1906". Note: Second volume for July – December 1906 missing. Additionally, Vol. XXXIX, page 305 bears the signature of American actor William Henry Crane, who was a guest at the Tate Springs Inn. Provenance – Estate of Bill Selden, Athens, TN. Condition: All volumes in overall good condition, some general wear.
