Ten (10) Asian blue and white export porcelain items, including garniture sets. 1st-3rd items: Three-piece (3) garniture set with Asian figures flanking a floral-decorated vase on stand surrounded by foliate forms, including one (1) large lidded baluster form vase with foo dog finial and two (1) cylindrical vases. Marked with four character mark to underside. 4th-6th items: Three-piece (3) garniture set with quilong and peony design, including one (1) lidded baluster form vase with foo dog finial and two (2) large cylindrical vases. Marked with four character mark to underside. 7th item: Lidded baluster form vase with bird on flowering branch decoration and foo dog finial. Character mark to back shoulder; base with concentric circles. 8th item: Lidded creamer or teapot with figural landscape and parcel gilt spout and finial. 9th-10th items: Pair (2) rouleau form vases with flowering vines throughout. Ranging in size from 5 3/4" H x 4 3/4" W x 4" D to 12 3/4" H x 5" dia. All items likely 20th century except for the lidded creamer. The lidded creamer is likely late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Marlin Phythyon Sanders, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items with minute scattered wear to surface, including minute fleabites to rims and feet. 1st-3rd items: Lidded vase with loss to lid measuring 1/8" x 3/8", one cylindrical vase with old restoration to underside of base edge. 4th-6th items: Scattered losses to lid, largest measuring 1/4" x 1/2". 7th item: Minor scattered losses to foot. 8th item: Old staple repair to handle and minor scattered surface residue.
