A Lazy Susan dining table, mixed woods including cherry and white pine. Two pieces, including a circular top consisting of several joined boards with the original raised revolving Lazy Susan center, and a base fitted with one dovetailed drawer with square tapered legs. Pegged construction throughout, and the top is removable from the base by removing wooden dowels. 32 3/4 in. (includes the elevated center) H x 54 in. dia. Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Kentucky estate.
CONDITION: Battons to the underside of top are contemporary replacements. The medial support for the base table is a later replacement. Patch covering previous lock for drawer. The top with scattered wear, scratching, abrasions, and putty repairs. One dowel that attaches the top to the base is absent.
