Two (2) framed lithographs in colors after Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973). 1st item: Lithograph entitled Colombe Bleue or Blue Dove depicting a dove with an olive branch in its beak. Signed and dated in the stone, "Picasso / 28.12.61.," and embossed "Editions Combat Pour La Paix Copyright S.P.A.D.E.M. Paris," lower right. Housed under plexiglass in a metallic frame with black reveal. Sight: 19" H x 24" W. Frame: 25 3/4" H x 30 1/4" W. 2nd item: Lithograph entitled Bouquet of Peace depicting two hands grasping a bouquet of colorful flowers. Signed and dated in the stone, "Picasso / 21.4 58." Housed under plexiglass in a modern wooden frame with cream mat. Sight: 14 1/2" h x 12" W. Frame: 21" H x 18 3/16" W. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: A Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall good condition, with minor smudge to area behind tail feathers plus soft crease to right wing, 1" L. Staining to mat, upper right. 2nd item: With mat burn and toning to sheet, plus two points of white pigment to center left, above lower hand. Frame with abrasions, staining to mat, and exterior streaks to plexiglass, largest 1 1/4" L. Not examined outside of frames.
