English diminutive Georgian style burlwood chest, consisting of an oyster-veneered, slightly overhanging molded top above a pull-out shelf; one row of two half-length dovetailed drawers above two graduated full-length drawers, and resting on bracket feet. 29 in. H x 24 in. W x 16 3/4 in. D. Early 20th century, likely made from salvaged wood.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Josephine Ralston Binns (Mrs. Douglas Binns), Nashville/Fayetteville, TN.
CONDITION: Scattered surface wear and abrasions throughout. Bottom board with later reinforcement board underside.
