Red painted and stenciled grain or seed drill in bench form manufactured by the Hoosier Drill Company, "Gale Sulky Harrow Mfg. Co. Detroit Michigan" stenciled in yellow letters on the front of the trough, iron supports on each side with the name of the Hoosier Drill Co. Richmond Ind. on one side and patent dates 1863 – 1878 on the other iron support. 17"H x 53 1/2"W x 16 1/8"D. 4th quarter of 19th century. Provenance: Betty Irene Yates estate, Greeneville, TN. Condition: Iron supports with oxidation, wear to top and expected wear to paint.
