Pair tall Sheffield 5-lite candelabra, upswept arms with acanthus leaf decoration, knopped candle cups with etched floral sprays and tops with beading, drip pans with bead edge, knopped baluster-shaped central shaft with incised floral spray, beading at terminals, knopped round base with incised floral sprays, one cartouche on base of each candelabrum engraved AT SPES NON FRACTA (Hope is not lost), gadrooning and beading on edge, three scroll pad feet. Illegible mark on base. 25" H x 20 1/2" W x 22 1/4" D. United Kingdom, mid 19th century. Provenance: Sevier County, TN private collection. CONDITION: Candelabra in overall very good condition with few surface scratches and little wear. Center lite and 4 candle arms are removable.
