Two (2) charcoal on paper animal drawings by children's book illustrator Tasha Tudor (American/New England, 1919-2008). 1st item: A large, gestural drawing of a waddling goose. Signed "T. Tudor" in lower right. Housed under glass in a modern gilt and black wood frame, with matted color photograph of the artist placed in lower left, behind glass. Sight: 27 1/2" H x 21 1/2" W. Frame: 31" H x 24 3/4" W. 2nd item: A gestural drawing of a seated corgi beside a tuft of grass. The dog lolls its tongue and perks up its ears. Signed in lower right "T. Tudor." Housed under glass in a modern gilt and black wood frame. Sight: 23 1/5 H x 17 1/2" W. Frame: 27" H x 20 3/4" W.
PROVENANCE: Private Hawkins County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: 1st item: Faint buckling throughout sheet. 2nd item: Visible buckling throughout image, with more extensive buckling in lower register possible related to water or humidity. Frames are in very god condition. Not examined out of frames.
