Rococo style sterling silver sauce boat with lobed body having chased and repousse seashell decoration, three scroll and shell form feet and a shaped handle ending in shell terminals. Unmarked but tests as .925 sterling. 6″ H x 8 3/4″ L x 4 1/2″ W. Possibly Mexican, likely 20th century. 19.420 troy ounces. Provenance: Deaccessioned from the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. CONDITION: Overall very good condition.
