Signed "Oliver Clare" lower right corner. Housed in a Rococo-style giltwood frame with foliate flourish corners. Sight: 17 7/8" H x 13 7/8" W. Framed: 23 7/8" H x 19 7/8" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Minor craquelure throughout. Painting has been wax lined with new spring stretchers. Scattered minor inpainting primarily to background, visible with UV inspection.
