Folk art painted sheet tin weathervane of a Native American with drawn bow and arrow. Later stand. 21"x 20 1/4". Late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: estate of A. Welling LaGrone Jr., Nashville, Tenn. Condition: The piece is heavily oxidized with roughly 20% of original paint remaining visible. The supports appear to be original but they have been re-soldered. Overall sheet tin remains in very good condition.
