New Orleans, Louisiana coin silver soup or punch ladle with fiddle tipt pattern handle, marked Hyde & Goodrich in rectangle (New Orleans 1828-1861), with additional small incuse A mark beside it, monogrammed CSG on back of handle. 12-1/2"L. 7.52 oz troy. 2nd quarter 19th century. Provenance: the collection of John Montague, Memphis, Tenn. CONDITION: Very good condition with light wear and scattered small light dents to bottom of bowl, some sales sticker residue which we have not attempted to remove.
