Two (2) Kentucky coin silver soup or punch ladles with fiddle tipt handles, including one (1) marked for Fletcher & Bennett (working Louisville, KY, 1843-1854), monogrammed with script "WBR" to handle, (13 1/8" L); and one (1) marked for Solomon Ralph Biesenthal (working Louisville, KY, 1860-1899), having a floral engraving to handle, (12 3/8" L). Combined weight: 10.135 total troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Cora Jane Spiller, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
CONDITION: Fletcher & Bennett ladle with light to moderate scratches, few scattered dents, particularly to bowl, minute dents to edges of handle. Biesenthal ladle with normal surface wear, dents, largest 1/2" to bowl.
