Three (3) Kentucky coin silver tablespoons with plain fiddle handles, marked A. BLANCHARD in rectangles for Asa Blanchard, working Lexington circa 1808-1838, mark used c. 1820-1838 ref. Marquis Boultinghouse, SILVERSMITHS OF KENTUCKY, p. 299, minus the eagle mark). 2 spoons monogrammed W, 1 monogrammed WM; each spoon is of a slightly different form. All approximately 8 3/4" L, combined weight 5.93 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: By descent in a Southern family to present consignor.
CONDITION: Wear to tips of bowls, some general surface wear and scratching, overall good condition.
