1st item: Old Sheffield Silver Plate meat dome, also called a fowl cover, of lobed, oval form, with finely chased acanthus leaf handle and foliate shell decorated band at lower mid-section. Engraved coat of arms crest featuring a bird over a shield with banner reading A FRAM; otherwise unmarked. 8-1/2"H x 14"L w 9"D. 2nd item: Old Sheffield Silver Plate crested entree warmer serving dish, oblong with four scrolled feet, the warming pan with stepped base and acanthus leaf decorated handles, central pan with gadrooned edge, and lid with gadroon decoration, detachable acanthus leaf top, and handle elaborate coat of arms monogram; otherwise unmarked. 7-1/2"H x 14"W x 8-1/2"D (including handles). Both items English, second quarter, 19th century. Provenance: A Nashville, Tennessee collection. Condition: Item 1: Overall very good condition with some small (1/8" or smaller) losses of silvering to back and a couple of very small dents. 2: Overall excellent condition, partially replated; some light wear to underside.
