English sterling silver commemorative ladle, long hollow tapering rat tail handle with three bands of ribbed molding near bowl and turned finial, engraved on back of bowl "Copy of the Salisbury Ladle, 1684, given to the Fishmongers Livery on the Coronation of George VI, 12th May, 1937. Royal griffin and crown crest to back of bowl, hallmarks to front of bowl: London, Sterling, 1936, William Comyns & Son Ltd. 14-7/8", 4.99 oz troy. Provenance: Private Arkansas Collection.
