Two (2) Leticia Tarrago (Mexico, b. 1940) aquatints, one titled "Las Visitas" depicting three young girls in a dark interior setting with one seated upon an elevated chair decorated with. skulls and holding needlepoint in her hands, and another titled "Constelacion" depicting a large grandmother figure to the left with a smaller female figure holding an owl and a female child peeking from behind and three leaping tigers against a starry sky to the right. Both numbered and titled in pencil lower left and pencil signed lower right. "Las Visitas" housed in a gilt wood frame (Sight: 14 1/2" H x 19 1/4" W, Framed: 23 1/4" H x 29 1/4" W) and "Constelacion" housed in a modern metal frame (Sight: 14 1/2" H x 20 1/2" W, Framed: 19 1/2" H x 25 1/2" W).
PROVENANCE: A Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: 1st etching with toning around mat perimeter. Mat with dampstaining lower left and frame scattered abrasions, mostly upper right corner. 2nd etching with approx. 2" crease center of lower margin and approx. 1/2" crease lower left corner. Mat with abrasions.
