S. Kirk & Son coin silver compote or tazza, of squared form and resting on a pedestal base having four flaring feet, with repousse leaf, fern, flower, and acanthus decoration throughout. The underside of the base is stamped “S. Kirk & Son” and 11 OZ. , the mark used by the firm from 1846-1861 to denote coin silver. 4 3/4″ H x 8 3/4 in. square. 24.14 troy ounces.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition.
