Coin silver pap boat or invalid feeder of oblong form with rolled rim and tapering spout, marked F.M. in rectangle for Frederick Marquand, (working Savannah, Georgia, 1819-1826 and New York City, 1826-1839). 5 1/2"L, 2.44 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: Private Southern Collection, acquired in early 1990s from collector/dealer Ted Strickney of Alabama, who acquired it in the Atlanta area.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with a few small minor dents and scratches; old museum accession number in red on base.
