Large Kentucky coin silver punch or soup ladle, marked A BLANCHARD in rectangle with single eagle mark for Asa Blanchard, working Lexington, 1808-1838 (mark illustrated Boultinghouse, Silversmiths of Kentucky, 1785-1900, p. 299, fig. 29D). Monogrammed with script "L". 14" L, 6.46 oz troy.

PROVENANCE: By descent in a Southern family to present consignor.

CONDITION: Very good condition with some light scratches and tiny scattered dents.
