Three mid-century framed abstract expressionist works on paper by Philip Perkins (Tennessee, 1907-1970), including a watercolor, signed lower right and dated 1959; a graphite drawing signed lower right and dated 1963; and a watercolor signed lower right with illegible date (mounted to mat). Sight sizes range from 10″ x 12″ to 14″ x 19″. Frame sizes range from 14″ x 16″ to 21″ x 25″.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Eugenia Moore of Nashville, a longtime patron of Philip Perkins.
CONDITION: Not examined out of frame. Each work exhibits some light toning. Largest watercolor has some foxing and faint dampstaining to upper right quadrant; others have some very minor spots of foxing. Losses to frames.
