Ralph Goings (American/New York/California, 1928-2016) offset lithograph in colors depicting the interior of a diner with several customers seated at the counter with backs turned to the viewer. Pencil signed and editioned 58/195, lower margin. With Wentworth Gallery, Miami label affixed to backing. Housed under plexiglass in a modern black frame with white mat and blue and black fillets. Sight: 29 3/4" H x 39" W. Frame: 44 1/2" h x 54" W. Biographical Note: Ralph Goings was a prominent artist of the photo-realist movement of the late 1960s and 1970s. He received his undergraduate degree in art at the California College of Arts and Crafts and his master's degree from Sacramento State University. His work often depicted the objects and interiors of urban, middle class American sites such as pickup trucks, diners, and supermarkets.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Gary R. Haynes.
CONDITION: Excellent condition. Not examined outside of frame. Frame with minor abrasions and losses to corners.
