Large collection of Japanese and Chinese porcelain, mostly Imari with some Famille Rose. Imari includes: 1 covered ginger jar with ribbed body, 10"H (3" hairline and old rim chip to side of jar); 1 Imari or Kutani bowl with gilt phoenix design, 8-1/2" diam; 1 Imari bowl with figural decoration, 9" diam; 1 bowl with ribbed sides and sea creature decoration including squid and fish designs, 7" diam; 1 oval platter, 12" L (firing crack to underside); 7 plates, all approximately 8" diameter (1 with small firing crack to rim, most with light wear to decoration, occasional minute rim chips/flakes); and 3 bowls, all approximately 6" diameter (light wear, occasional minute rim chips/flakes). Famille Rose includes a lozenge shaped footed dish decorated with fish (scattered rim chips), 11"L; 1 lozenge shaped box with pierced lid and figural decorations to sides, stamped China (small edge flakes), 4-3/4"L, and a brush holder with insect and flower designs, 3-3/4"H. Items range from mid 19th to early 20th centuries, 18 pcs total. Provenance: the estate of Helen B. Patterson, Gallatin, Tennessee. Condition: See item description
