Exceptional Lexington, Kentucky Gothic Revival coin silver cup or mug, circular reeded rim over engraved spearhead and sprig decorations, above an octagonal form body with arched panels enclosing engine turned diamond and stripe designs. Central engraved cartouche monogrammed “Emily/Dec. 25, 1868”. Squared hollow C form handle. Incuse stamp to underside: E.C. GARNER COIN 5 for Eli C. Garner, Lexington, KY working 1838-1842 alone, 1842-1862 as Garner & Winchester, and 1862-1878 alone. Circa 1865. 3 1/8 in. H.
