Nineteen (19) pieces coin silver flatware marked POINDEXTER in rectangles for William P. Poindexter, active Lexington, KY 1818-1859, including 1 gravy ladle, 12 teaspoons with fiddle swell handles; 4 teaspoons with rounded fiddle handles; and 2 tablespoons. Ranging in size from 5 7/8" L to 8 1/2" L. Combined weight: 12.7 troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Cora Jane Spiller, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
CONDITION: Ladle in very good condition. The 2 tablespoons are earlier than other forms and have significant wear to tips of bowls and to marks. All items monogrammed except for the 4 teaspoons with rounded ends; monograms do not all match on the 12 teaspoons with fiddle swell handles. Many spoons with small dents to bowls.
