Set of six (6) shell pattern coin silver forks, marked GARNER & WINCHESTER Lex.KY. 110z." for Eli Garner and Daniel Frank Winchester, working Lexington 1842-1862. (Note: 110 oz. was a marking indicating coin silver used in Baltimore, where Winchester trained as a silversmith; he carried over the tradition after moving to Kentucky). 7 7/8" L. 12.750 troy ounces.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Light use wear present to tines, script monogram to front and back of handle.
