Charles Roger "Red" Grooms (Tennessee/New York, b.1937) color lithograph on paper titled "Masters at the Met" depicting an interior museum scene with figures viewing, sketching, and discussing various works of art by Gaugin, Van Gogh, Seurat, Degas, and others. Numbered "31/75" lower left and pencil signed and dated "Red Grooms '02" lower left. Housed and matted in a contemporary black frame under glass. Sheet: 21 1/2" H x 29 3/4" W. Framed: 33 1/2" H x 41 1/2" W.
PROVENANCE: The collection of the late Dianne and Harris Gilbert, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: Overall excellent condition. Not examined outside of frame.
