Small heavy sterling silver wine pitcher with figural mask, possibly the mythological Bacchus, to front under spout; the molded rim and mid section over a lobed lower section, atop a ringed pedestal and molded scalloped foot. Hollow handle with foliate flourish. Possible illegible hallmarks to underside of ring on pedestal; tests .925. Continental or South American in the Continental style, 18th or 19th century. 8 1/2" H. 22.61 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Tiny hole to handle and 3 tiny holes to spout. Zigzag mark to interior of spout. Possible restoration to pedestal and base.
