English burlwood chest of drawers with burlwood veneers, pine and other woods secondary. Comprised of a slightly overhanging molded top having a band of herringbone inlay, above two over three graduated full length dovetailed drawers, all having banded inlay and batwing pulls, above bracket feet and a plain skirt. 36" H x 39" W x 19 1/2" D. 19th century. Provenance: a Nashville, Tennessee estate. CONDITION: Overall general wear. Brasses appear to be replacements. Some natural shrinkage and age cracks to veneer.
