Chinese turquoise glazed bowl with incised dragons, pearls, and wave or cloud designs to the exterior, and a plain white interior. Six character Guangxu mark and possibly of the period (1875-1908). 2-5/8"H x 5-7/8" diameter. Provenance: the estate of Marjorie Ann Yaple Compton, Nashville, Tennessee. Compton worked in the Institute of Far Eastern Languages at Yale University in the 1950s. Condition: Scattered glaze imperfections to interior bottom.
