CALHOUN (incuse) and W&H for Wood and Hughes, New York, retailed by George R. Calhoun, Nashville, working 1847-d.1903); 1 teaspoon marked J. CAMPBELL in rectangle for John Campbell, working Fayetteville, NC and Cheraw, SC c. 1827-1836 and Nashville, TN 1836-1857; 1 teaspoon marked R MATTHEWS in rectangle (possibly Richard Matthews, working Charlottesville, VA, 1836-48); 1 teaspoon marked JB COOK in rectangle (possibly John B. Cooke, working Petersburg, VA 1838-1843); 1 dessert spoon marked W.A.WILLIAMS in rectangle (likely William A. Williams, working Alexandria, VA. 1809-1835); 3 teaspoons marked IC (possibly Jacob Craft, working Shepherdstown, WV 1790-1825); 2 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon marked for Hotchkiss & Snyder of New York with incuse mark J.A. WEBB (Baltimore, c. 1860); 2 dessert spoons marked S. KIRK 10.15 in rectangles (Baltimore, c. 1821-46) and 2 teaspoons marked TJ BROWN 10.15 in rectangles (Baltimore, 1842-1884). Also included are some unattributed pieces: 1 salt ladle and 1 cream ladle marked YOUNG in script in rectangle; 1 gravy ladle marked SMITH in rectangle; 1 tablespoon marked SMITH PURE COIN in rectangles; and 1 cream ladle marked SL in rectangle.
