Four (4) brass and bronze items, including pair (2) of brass French Empire candlesticks, baluster form with tapering columns, having cross-hatching, and small dot and line decoration throughout; one (1) large gilt bronze torchiere or pricket altar candlestick with gadrooned bobeche, columnar shaft, and a tripod base ornamented with religious vignettes and three scrolled animal paw feet; and one (1) small gilt bronze Rococo style easel with, with scrolling and foliate pierced design, two scrolling feet, T-hinge support, and scrolling rear leg. Sizes ranging from 10 3/4" H x 4 3/4" dia. All items are Continental, most French, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st-2nd items: Slight warping to bodies and bobeches, Wax residue to bobeches. One with solder repair to underside. 3rd item: In good condition with expected patina and some scattered wax residue. 4th item: In overall good condition with expected patina.
