1st item: Coin silver mug, having a pear-shaped body with scrolling foliate engraved decoration and cartouche, modeled rim, c scroll handle, and beaded foot ring, marked for Newell Harding and Company (working Haverhill, MA, 1851-1889). Inscription reading "Harriet L. Fellows,/FROM/J.F.Y./March 23rd 1857." to cartouche. 4 1/4" H x 4" W. 2nd item: Coin silver mug, having a round body with engraved and engine turned decorations including band of shells and scrolling foliate cartouche, c scroll handle with acanthus leaf spur, and beaded rim and foot ring, marked for Cooper and Fisher (working New York, NY, 1854-1862). Script monogram "M.S.M." with date "1861" to cartouche. 4 1/2" H x 5" W. 3rd item: Coin silver mug, having a panel form body with guilloche decoration, double c-scroll handle with spur, and beaded rim and foot ring, marked for Tift and Whiting (working North Attleboro, MA, 1840-1853). Not monogrammed. 3 1/2" H x 4" W. Combined weight: 12.290 total troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with normal surface wear, scattered dents, largest 1 1/4", primarily to foot rings.
