Coin Silver teapot marked for Allen Armstrong, working Philadelphia, 1806-1870, hinged domed lid with gadrooned edge and urn finial, gooseneck spout and carved wooden handle. All resting on a stepped rectangular base. 9 1/4" H X 12" W. 23.870 troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 3 letter script monogram to body. Top with a few scattered light dimples, one dent to side edge. Wear and fading to wood handle.
