1st item: Coin silver creamer, having a helmet form body, c-shaped handle, and reeded trim to upper shoulder, marked DUMOUTET in rectangle, likely for Elizabeth Doumoutet (working Philadelphia, c. 1817-1822) or John Baptiste Dumoutet (working Philadelphia, PA 1793-1813; Trenton, NJ 1797-1799; and Charleston, SC 1802-1813). Monogrammed with faint script "THC". 4" H x 4 1/2" W. 2nd item: Coin silver cup or beaker, having a reeded rim, tapered body with floral repousse decorations, and a beaded footring, marked PURE SILVER COIN and PALMER & BACHELDERS, BOSTON (working Boston, MA 1846-1854). Inscription reading "F.M. Abbott./from his father/Dec 25th 1848" within a cartouche to body. 3 1/4" H x 2 7/8" dia. Combined weight: 6.885 total troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with normal surface scratches, scattered minute dents.
