Lot 793: 4 Silver Jewelry Boxes incl. Japanese and Heintz Art Metal

Four (4) jewelry or trinket boxes, including one (1) Heintz Art Metal sterling-on-bronze box with applied tree decoration, additionally stamped for Cross London; one (1) Japanese .950 silver box; one (1) American Smith & Smith sterling box; and one (1) Peruvian Amano/Valderama 925 box with engraved double-eagle heraldic design and monogram “KJ.” All with wood-lined interiors. Sizes range from 4 in. W x 3 in. D x 1 1/2 in. H to 9 in. W x 4 in. D x 2 in. H. All items early to mid–20th century.

PROVENANCE: Private Chattanooga area collection.

CONDITION: Heintz box has one screw missing at rear hinge, tiny dent to top. Pinpoint dent to front of Japanese silver box. Other items excellent condition.
