Kentucky or Tennessee Sheraton table or stand, cherry with poplar secondary, having a rectangular top over a single dovetailed drawer with glass pull, with ring turned and reeded legs ending in ball and spike feet. 29 1/4"H x 27"W x 19"D. Circa 1825.
PROVENANCE: A Middle Tennessee estate.
CONDITION: Top is an old replacement with some minor staining and shrinkage. Considerable shrinkage to drawer bottom with resulting gap. Original glass pull. Original lock removed, with resulting scarring to front of drawer. 1" loss to top edge of drawer. Scattered scuffs and abrasions.
