Pair of Dresden-style porcelain urns, in the manner of Carl Thieme, now mounted as lamps. Each with polychrome and gilt decoration, with figural vignettes to each side and the base encrusted with figural flowers, leaves, and fruit, female bust handles, and raised on a pedestal base with four feet. Bronze mounts to the top and base. Urns measure 17 in. H x 9 in. W. Total 27 3/4 in. H. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Dr. James and Rebecca Whicker, Knoxville, TN.
CONDITION: Losses to the joint between the urn and the base of one lamp; the other lamp reinforced with adhesive to the joint between the urn and the base. Some minor scattered losses to raised floral, leaf, and fruit decoration.
