Three (3) piece Newell Harding & Co., Boston, repousse coin silver tea set with floral cartouches surrounding monogram "M" to one side of body and inscription "From Father & Mother" to the other, naturalistic branch form handles with bunches of berries, and round foot with floral design. Set includes one (1) teapot with hinged lid having floral design and bundle-of-wheat form finial and gooseneck spout, one (1) creamer with pinched spout, and one (1) double-handled sugar bowl with lid having floral design and bundle-of-wheat form finial. All items stamped with maker's mark, "Boston", and "Coin". Monogrammed. Ranging in size from 5 1/2" H x 7 3/8" W x approx. 5 3/8" dia. to 6 1/2" H x 10 1/2" W x approx. 6 1/4" dia. 62.060 total troy ounces. Mid-19th century. Note: While Harding was a prolific maker of flatware, examples of his hollowware are considerably more scarce.

CONDITION: All items in overall very good condition with minor scattered surface scratches and minute scattered denting. All pieces monogrammed.
