Pair of Antonio Enrico Fiorentino (Italian, 1894-1962) watercolor and gouache on paper portraits depicting a peasant woman and male fisherman, both attired in bright red head coverings and the gentleman smoking a pipe. Female portrait is signed lower left and male portrait is signed lower right. Both housed in similar but not matching gilt wood frames. Sight for both – 19 5/8" H x 15 1/2" W. Framed – 22 3/4" H x 18 3/4" W. 20th century. CONDITION: Toning to mats of both paintings. Some foxing noted on portrait of male. Abrasions to frames.
