Very large German bisque doll by Simon & Halbig. Marks: S & H 1249, Dep, Germany. 14. Often referred to as "Santa" model doll, but not inscribed Santa. Bisque socket head, brown sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes with applied upper lashes, molded and feathered brows, pierced ears, open mouth with upper teeth, accented lips with additional detail on lower lip, original blonde human hair wig marked "14", composition ball-jointed body, silk and lace dress with matching hat and cotton undergarments and knit stockings, fabric, silk and white leather shoes, all likely original. 31-32" L..
