Two (2) American sterling silver footed bowls including one with trophy inscription. 1st item: S. Kirk and Son bowl having a modeled rim and a stepped base. Maker's marks, Sterling, 925/1000, and 4151 stamped to underside of base with additional numerals and letters. Monogrammed "C.C." to body below rim. 3 7/8" H x 9 3/8" dia. 2nd item: Gorham Paul Revere style bowl having a flared rim and a stepped base. Presentation inscription to body below rim reading "Rolling Rock Club/Annual Invitation Golf Tournament/1953". Maker's marks, Sterling, 41658, 3, and P. Revere Reproduction stamped to underside of base. 3 1/2" H x 6 1/2" dia. Combined weight: 37.665 total troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Edith (Edie) M. Bass, Nashville, Tennessee. Most of the items from her estate in this auction were by descent from her parents, Walter Paul McBride and Claire Childs of Lake Forest, Illinois.
CONDITION: Both items in overall good condition with surface scratches. 1st item: Dents, largest 1/4", to rim. Base slightly misshapen. 2nd item: 1/4" dent to lower body.
