Criterion double comb disc music box, coin operation with wind up mechanism to side, serial #1785. Housed in a carved oak case with distributor's label reading "Paillard, New York" with colored lithograph to underside of lid. Eleven (11) 15 1/2" discs included. Fully functional. 10 1/2" H x 22" W x 20 1/2" D. Late 19th century. Private Middle Tennessee collection. CONDITION: Fully functional. Two teeth missing to right side of comb. Some oxidation to discs. Case possibly refinished.
