Merwin & Hulbert 3rd Model Frontier Army Single Action revolver, .44-40 WCF (Winchester Center Fire) Cartridge, serial number 15391. Top of barrel marked "…3.75 July 11.76 Apr 17.77 Pat's Mar 6.78", left side of barrel marked "…wich, Conn. U.S.A.", left side of frame under cylinder marked "Calibre Winchester 1873". Round barrel, factory pearl grips, metal frame with re-nickel finish, checkered hammer and wedge, loading gate. Barrel length – 6". Overall length – 11 1/2". Late 19th century. CONDITION: Action works but is a little sticky. Metal has a re-nickel finish. Small chips to bottom corners of both grips. Bore is slightly dirty.
